MUSIC FOR BRASS AND WOODWIND
(alphabetical order of composer)

Claude Debussy arr Sansum
THE LITTLE SHEPHERD
Flute, Oboe, 2 Clarinets, Bassoon, Horn in F. Duration: c. 3'30".
[Difficult] A beautiful impressionist sketch skilfully arranged for small ensemble in a way that particularly highlights the flute. The opening bars, where it is heard unaccompanied, are strongly reminiscent of Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune.
PP0033. Score & 6 parts.

Henri Kling arr Kronk & Laurendeau
THE ELEPHANT AND THE FLY
Piccolo & Tuba with Piano. Duration: c. 6'00".
[Difficult] A version with tuba of this turn-of-the-century duo caractéristique, originally for piccolo, trombone and light orchestra. '. . . would make a good light-hearted item in a concert . . .'- Pan.
PP0043. 3 parts (Tuba bass clef only) complete.

Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy
THREE MARCHES FOR HARMONIE MUSIK
Flute, E flat Clarinet, B flat Clarinets 1 & 2, Bassoon, Double Bassoon; E flat Horns 1 & 2, E flat Trumpets 1 & 2, Trombone, Bass Horn. Duration: c. 12' 30".
[Moderately difficult] Three marches composed for wind band, transcribed from the only extant source: a manuscript score by a nineteenth-century copyist in the Bodleian Library, Oxford.
PP0063. Full score & 10 parts complete.
Transcription commissioned by Berlioz Historical Brass.
