GARN WEST
Symphonic Windband & Squaredance Caller. Duration: c. 8' 00".
[Moderately difficult] Three melodic and foot-tapping movements:
1. Shades of Parades. A Tribute to Charles Ives, with several bands appearing
and simultaneously playing different marches.
2. Meanwhile . . . Resting under the night-time prairie sky, the band hums a
well-known melody.
3. Lowdown Hoedown. The caller encourages the dancers to take the floor for increasingly
bizarre antics.
PP0062. Full score, conductor score & 36 parts complete.

in history to invent a street-cleaning machine (for Vienna City Council).
