Claude Debussy arr Sansum
THE LITTLE SHEPHERD
Flute, Oboe, 2 Clarinets, Bassoon, Horn in F. Duration: c. 3'30".
[Difficult] A beautiful impressionist sketch skilfully arranged for small
ensemble in a way that particularly highlights the flute. The opening
bars, where it is heard unaccompanied, are strongly reminiscent of Prélude
à l'après-midi d'un faune.
PP0033. Score & 6 parts.
Henri Kling arr Kronk & Laurendeau

originally for piccolo, trombone and light orchestra. '. . . would make
a good light-hearted item in a concert . . .'- Pan.
PP0043. 3 parts (Tuba bass clef only) complete.
